About being a tutor

To be a Mytvet tutor, you need to meet the following requirements.

Because all the tutoring will be done online, you'll need to have a reliable laptop with a webcam as well as a reliable internet connection.

Who can be a tutor?
You can be a TVET Lecturer or a TVET student who has passed the subject with distinction.

Selection Process
Once you have completed the form and you meet the criteria, you will be asked to record a 5min video of yourself teaching the subject of your preference.

Leave the admin to us
We'll find you the students to tutor and you'll get to choose your own tutoring hours. Expect to earn between R150 p/hr to R270 p/hr depending on the N level you'll be tutoring.
